Location is super convenient, just a block from River Street with great access to restaurants. The parking fee is $30 per day, which feels a bit steep. Breakfast had a good variety, but the quality was inconsistent. Rooms are nice and clean, although street noise can be loud at times, and they provide a sound machine to help with that.

Very friendly staff and great location—just a short walk to River Street. The noise from the streets was really disruptive at night.

The Best Western Savannah Historic District boasts an excellent location convenient for exploring the area. The staff, especially Andre at breakfast, were welcoming and attentive. housekeeping could improve, as our room wasn't thoroughly cleaned, and a surprise parking fee left us a bit frustrated.

Parking was such a hassle! We had to pay $30, and it was chaotic due to a Christmas parade. The manager was overwhelmed, and the air conditioning died on us, making our stay super uncomfortable. Just frustrating all around!

The room was nicely cleaned and comfortable, particularly the beds, which made for restful nights. Climate control worked well, keeping the space cozy. The hotel's location was a real highlight; we could easily walk to River Street and various attractions. Unfortunately, noise from the nearby festivities was noticeable, despite the provided earplugs. Breakfast was decent but lacked quick replenishment, and importantly, there were no microwaves available in the room. Parking was an added surprise fee, complicating the experience. Service could improve; there were communication issues at check-in that caused confusion with our room assignments.

The location was perfect, right by the river and the marketplace! The heated swimming pool was a dream, and I loved lounging on the sunbeds. The welcoming staff and delicious breakfast options made my stay even more enjoyable!
Strongly recommend! 💖✨

Spacious rooms, spacious bathroom with a comfortable bed that had feather pillows and a clean refrigerator that kept our drinks cold perfectly during our stay.
Almost perfect.

Southern charm with a local slice, comfy beds, tasty breakfast, and a good shower! The gym and reception open all day. Safety features and good location for sightseeing.
I loved not being able to sleep because of the noise outside, it was so peaceful! .

The location was ideal, within a 5-minute walk to all main attractions and surrounded by great bars and restaurants. The riverfront was charming, especially during the holiday season. The breakfast was delightful, with a kind staff member named Andre making the experience even better.
The staff was rude and inconsiderate, often engaged in personal calls or smoking cigarettes and marijuana. The room was dirty, with malfunctioning doors, refrigerator, and low water pressure.

You can easily walk to the vibrant River Street and historic district, with iconic spots like City Market and the Telfair Academy just around the corner, making it super convenient for leisurely strolls; not to mention the comfy beds that ensure a good night’s sleep after a day of exploration. Breakfast was decent, but the dining area felt crowded during peak hours.

We had a blast with our two little adventurers, Emily and Jack, exploring the historic district of Savannah. They were thrilled to visit the pirate museum and indulge in delicious treats at the nearby candy store. The convenience of the hotel's location made our family trip unforgettable!
My wife says that clearer signage for family-friendly activities is needed.

The hotel offers easy access to the sightseeing tour bus right in the lobby. The breakfast was decent and one staff member, Alicia, deserves a gold star for being genuinely helpful!

Perfect location—steps from Riverwalk. Convenience is key; you’re near bars and restaurants with vibrant nightlife. The complimentary breakfast was varied and delicious, thanks to the kind staff member, Andre. Rooms were clean and spacious, and the air conditioning worked well. check-in was chaotic. There was a room mix-up, impacting my child’s comfort. The staff seemed overwhelmed. The parking fee felt like an unexpected burden in an already pricey stay. While the hotel has potential, they must address staffing and room maintenance to enhance the experience. A bit of attention goes a long way. Would consider returning, but only with assurance of improvements.

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, and a fantastic location near City Market and the riverfront made for a pleasant experience. Breakfast was a highlight, especially the hot options and fresh coffee. some maintenance issues, like a clogged sink and a problematic fridge, took away from the comfort. The staff was mostly friendly, though the check-in felt a bit off. A minor concern was the parking access and cost. While the atmosphere outside raised some eyebrows, the positive elements, like the pet-friendly policy, almost balanced it out. Would consider returning, but with caution.

The location is ideal for exploring everything historic and lively. The breakfast offers a solid variety of good hot food and fresh coffee that kicks you into gear.
It wasn’t affordable, but honestly it’s still reasonable for what you get.

I was so excited to come here after reading all the great reviews about this hotel. The location was truly perfect for exploring the city, with everything we wanted to see and do just a few minutes away. The room itself was comfortable, with a spacious bathroom and a cozy bed. there were a few things that didn't quite meet my expectations. First of all, the breakfast situation left a lot to be desired. It was crowded, not very clean, and the food was quite disappointing. Eating with plastic cutlery and on polystyrene plates didn't give off a great impression. The staff at breakfast seemed unfriendly and uninterested, which was a bit off, putting. the cleanliness of the property was a concern. The carpet in my room smelled and felt dirty, making me uncomfortable walking around without socks. I had to call the front desk for room cleaning, even when I had requested service. there seemed to be an issue with homeless individuals near the access stairs, which was unsettling. On top of that, maintenance of the rooms seemed lacking. The smell of mold in the air vents was bothersome, along with a drainage problem in the shower leading to ankle, deep water after a short shower. The dusty lamps and AC unit added to the feeling of neglect in the room. Lastly, the hotel's parking situation was chaotic, with double, parking and vehicles blocking access points. The overall service experience fell short, with late check, ins and early check, outs, coupled with an unapologetic attitude from staff when issues arose. Despite these setbacks, I must mention the friendly staff and the fantastic location as definite positives during my stay.

I was thrilled to visit River Street Savannah and chose Best Western for its location, but I was pleasantly surprised by their efficient dry cleaning services. The City Market nearby was a delightful hub of dining and shopping, and the free breakfast buffet was a great start to my day.
Inaccurate air conditioning thermostat reading.

Visited ghost tours & dope museums. Dope staff hooked it up, mad friendly & helpful. Breakfast had us set for the day too! All about that convenience, ya feel?
Would’ve been lit if there was a cool hangout spot for us teens to chill & vibe at night.

Close to the river and friendly staff. The concierge was really helpful in giving us tips for exploring the area. You could easily walk to all the key spots in the historic district.
The room had a strong musty smell and the cleanliness was lacking—found a needle in the carpet! Plus, the bed sags, and amenities like towels and washcloths weren't replaced.

stayed at best western in a fantastic location downtown. within walking distance to everything. breakfast buffet was on par with a 4-star hotel. staff, especially Mary, were incredibly helpful, providing great suggestions and shortcuts to nearby attractions. the room was warmly furnished and a step up from other best western properties. 😊
